SAM WIDDOES

SAM WIDDOES is a producer and is co-founder of District 33. Sam created and executive produced the documentary series BlackBalled for Quibi/Roku Originals, which examines the cultural context of race in America through the lens of one of the most explosive events in recent sports history — the expulsion of Donald Sterling from the NBA. He produced As We Speak, which was nominated for an 2025 Emmy, and was an official selection at there 2024 Sundance Film Festival. . Sam is also an attorney and has negotiated rights acquisitions, financing and distribution deals for scripted and unscripted content. Sam lives in Los Angeles and serves as Vice President of the Board of Trustees at Turning Point School in Culver City.

PETER CAMBOR

PETER CAMBOR is a writer/director/producer and co-founder of District 33. Executive Produced BLACKBALLED for Roku, and Produced the Emmy Nominated Documentary AS WE SPEAK for Paramount + (2024 Sundance Film Festival Selection)He is currently directing a documentary series for XYZ Films and MRC, and is in development CBS on a untitled scripted Project. Peter has produced and directed documentaries, commercials and branded content for television and online platforms as well. Peter is probably best known for his work as an actor on Grace and Frankie, NCIS: LA, Suits, and Roadies. He received his B.A. in English from Wesleyan University and his M.F.A from Harvard's Institute for Advanced Theater Training at the American Repertory Theater. He splits his time between Los Angeles, CA and Portland, OR.
